GETTING HERE
From Europe
Trips to North Morocco are becoming more accessible with various ways of travelling to the beautiful Mediterranean Coast.
Ryanair http://www.ryanair.com/site/EN/ Birmingham, Manchester, London or Shannon to Marseille, then Marseille to Tangier.
Jets 4 You
http://www.jet4you.com/Search.aspx fly from Barcelona directly to Tangier. Budget flights are freely available from various UK or European airports to Barcelona, why not have an overnight stay and visit this historic city full of Spanish culture.
Monarch Airlines http://flights.monarch.co.uk/ have daily flights from Luton and Manchester to Gibraltar, where you will need to get a bus or taxi to Algerciras, then the ferry to Ceuta or Tangier, Ceuta being the closest to our apartments. Gibraltar is well worth a visit on your way home, if time allows.
Budget airlines fly from various parts of the UK to Malaga. We are currently organising transport from Malaga to Algeciras or you can take a bus to Algeciras, then the ferry to Ceuta or Tangier, Ceuta being the closest to our apartments on the Mediterranean Coast.
Or if flying is not your thing, driving down through Spain is alternative option. We did this journey at the end of March 2009 and again in December 2010, sailing from Plymouth to Santander, we then drove down the centre of Spain passed Gibraltar to Algeciras, we then boarded a ferry to Ceuta which sails hourly. The trip was very scenic and can thoroughly recommend this option if you have the time to travel this way.
The Rock of Gibraltar is well worth a visit
